Our History...
Celebration Ministries Inc. has been through many chapters of it’s ministries. At it’s birth in 1995, it encompassed a thriving dance ministry and praise team, comprised of 8 ladies and their daughters. ...not a club or performing group, but a family of girls of all ages, denominations, cultures, and backgrounds, interested in a deeper relationship with Christ through prayer, dance, and testimony. Sign language was sometimes incorporated to reach the hearing-impaired, but also to exhibit the beauty of the language itself. As the team grew, it moved into inspirational drama before closing that chapter in 2016.
Celebration Ministries used dance as a tool to share their faith at churches, retirement homes, hospitals, schools, and other facilities throughout Florida. The youth especially loved sharing with their own age group in their own unique language, at places such as: Edgewood Children’s Ranch and The House of Hope. They opened for Out of Eden at The Last Wave Club, danced at the Back to School Jam sponsored by Z88, and shared at the Shofar Theatre at The Holy Land Experience in Orlando. . They were invited to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, where they shared their faith through dance and personal testimony to tourists at The Galaxy Palace Theater in Tomorrowland. They were on fire for God in their personal walks with Him, and love to show others how much fun it is. Their ultimate goal is to spread the gospel in their own language.
CM now includes "Manna for Marriage", a building and recovery program for marriages, which includes husband or wife individual coaching, couple mentoring, speaking engagements and workshops. “Kingsmen” is another branch of CM, a national men’s group centered on sexual integrity and relationship with God, and recommended on the NewLife website through “Every Man’s Battle”. Our Kingsmen ministry partners with men across the nation in person, through Zoom meetings, and other communications, to obtain spiritual victory leading to stronger marriages and influence in society.
The heart of Celebration Ministries is still to go outside the walls of any one church to share the gospel and minister to those in need, reaching those who may be lost or hurt with no church family, and then shepherd them into area churches. We feel called to be a community outreach, a means of bringing people of various backgrounds and denominations together as His true church, which has no structural walls nor boundaries. We are multi-denominational, including members from churches such as Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Vineyard, Lutheran, and Pentecostal. We come together in agreement on important theological issues, but maintain differences that complement and vary our worship experiences
